Just singin along with Akon! :) haha... but seriously... for the next three weeks I'm all alone at the house. I don't know if the update came through to most of you, but I'm living with a friend, Alexi. He lives in the Fairfax area... close to WEGMAN'S! :) Yup... the ideal location!!! haha... Soo... Alexi is in Hong Kong for three weeks and so I'm flyin solo. It is kinda nice. I have never lived totally alone before. Mind you... it is only been a few days that Alexi has been gone, but I think the alone thing is going to be good for me. A little time to just chill and relax. I'm looking forward to it ;) but seriously... if you want to come visit, let me know. I'm game for company!
This Friday, my pal since third grade - Alli- is coming over for dinner and a movie. I haven't decided what I'm going to cook for her, but she runs marathons (and half marathons). She has a big run planned for Saturday am, so she said pasta. Niiiiccceeee..... I can do pasta!!! haha... but now what kind!?!?! Lasagne? naw, too much food for only two people. Alfredo? naw, too many calories and too much butter! haha Traditional with meatballs perhaps? naw, not enough time... soo... yeah, tomorrow I am going to do some searching to see if I can find something quick/healthy/size appropriate for the two of us.
Al and i are also going to watch a movie. Alexi has a few movies geared more toward the male mind whereas I have movies geared for the more feminine of minds. That is where the dilemma lies.... WHAT TO WATCH? haha... if you have any suggestions, let me know! We are willing to hit up blockbuster if necessary! :)
I have a new fave song of the day... "Pon De Replay" by Rihanna. It is a good jam. I'm sure the radio will wear it out though and I will be tired of it by next week. For now however, I'm enjoying it :)
Uhh... OH YEAH!!!! I've made some progress in the way of personal goals that I mentioned in my previous blog. I spoke to my vocal director last night (at the vienna falls sweet adelines practice - see www.viennafalls.net for more info) Claire (the director) said that as a new member you get one free voice lesson with her, and that she would be willling to coach me more if I wanted to!!! :) That is super good news. That means I don't have to go to George Mason and search out a prof that I like and trust and think knows his/her stuff... I have a personal voice coach that is willing to work with me and I know I like her and I know she knows her stuf... that is friggin awesome news!!!! :) On that same note... I went to Borders today and purchased a book on HTML coding. I have begun my web page... a goofy little page where I am testing out what I know... It is actually pretty cool. I've also started looking at the source coding that other people use. I know... call me a nerd already!!!! :)
Ok, well I'm babbling... it has been a really goood day. I don't have any specifics on why, but it has. I have been in a happy bubbly mood all day. I hope this continues tomorrow!!! Speaking of tomorrow... I gotta get some sleep. It is now like 1 am and 6:15 comes mighty quickly.
