Christmas Vacation!

Ok, so here are the pictures everyone has been clamoring for. I'm soooorrrryyy it has taken so long. Enjoy!

**These pics are of Alli and me at dinner. Both of us and our respective sets of parents went to dinner one night. It was so much fun! Our dads compared the new cell phones they recently purchased. They beamed their telephone numbers back and forth, they talked about megapixels, they compared screen size. It was NERD central! The girls talked about everything non cell phone related! haha. It was such a good time. Al is my oldest friend, not many people can say they have a buddy since 3rd grade that they still talk to and see all the time. I heart her! :)

** Christmas Eve's Eve, I met up with Crystal, Brooke, Brittany, Chad, Brett, Kevin, Brandon, John, and a bunch of other people. It was like a high school reunion, it was so awesome. The girls looked killer, so we def. had to get a lot of pictures!!! Left to right is Crystal, ME!, Brittany, Brooke.

Just like old times... Brett is such a ladies man!

Catching up on some juicy news....

Chad and Brooke - just laughing the entire night...

Long time no see! Brett and Brittany

Can I hug you now that you are married? :)

Ok, for those of you pictured - if you would like additional pics (yes, there are more) let me know. I will send them to you.

For those of you not pictured, I hope you enjoyed these! :)

Last Weekend

Last weekend I was super super super busy.

Friday night J&J Catering was birthed. Jess and I catered our first party. Other than forgetting toothpicks (seriously, not a big deal!!!), our party was a complete success!!! :) We had a pretty extensive menu, including hand-stuffed shells, chocolate covered pretzels, bruchetta, hot spinach and artichoke dip, honey-baked ham and rolls, and the list goes on!!! We received numerous compliments on our cooking and we look forward to the next J&J event, as should you!!!!

Ok, so that was Friday night... Busy, busy, but totally rewarding!

Saturday night was the fun night. I was invited to Kappa Alpha's Semi-formal by R.J. We had SO much fun. RJ was a complete gentleman the whole night, and even bought me roses (which still look beautiful, I might add!). We went to dinner at Malibu Grill and then went back to the KA house where we danced and laughed the night away. I didn't get home until 4 am! We definately burned the midnight oil!

This is a pic of my date R.J. (third from the left) and my youngest brother, Ben (second from the left). The other two boys are some of R.J. and Ben's pledge brothers. :)

This is my brother George and his date, Amanda. What a coincidence - they accidentally had matching outfits! Gosh they are of one mind!

Here is the best pic of the night!!! We took this one for our mom, since all her kiddies were at a semi-formal event together. (be sure to check out George's eyes) hahahahaha....

Ok, that is all for now. More soon!!! :)

Yummy Dinna...

This past Saturday eve (December 10) I went to Marrakesh with some pals, Dan and Erin (they are pictured below). we had a wonderful time!! The food was great. Atmosphere was great! Overall I would totally reccomend this joint!!!

Check out the pics!

Here are pics of the first two courses - the first is a series of veggie salads eaten with bread. The second course was a chicken, egg, almond mixture in filo dough. Totally awesome! Super tasty!

Blogging Success!!!

Uhh... sooooo yeah, I googled myself today and I am proud to report my blog site has moved to the number one slot!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!

As I was going through the posts that listed my name, I also found this one (http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?961+min+SM0111) that lists my name as one of the official Senate Messengers of Virginia in 1996!!!

How cool is that? It is listed in the minute book from Thursday, January 11!

Finally! More Pics from Paris!

One thing I really loved about Paris was you could be walking in a normal old neighborhood(if there is such a thing in Paris) and you turn the corner and BAM! In the middle of the street is a super cool fountain. We just don't have stuff like that here!!!

The Pantheon was prolly my favorite building in Paris. I never made it inside (that is my one Paris regret) but I had a great time taking pics from the outside. This is a pic taken from the Luxembourg Gardens of my fave - The Pantheon.

There were gargoyles everywhere. It was so weird seeing them on almost every church building. I couldn't figure it out. I really don't remember reading about "gargies" in the bible ;) haha.

While checkin out the Lux Gardens, there was this huge fountain in the center of the gardens where little kiddies rented these toy boats and with long sticks pushed their boats around in the water. The little kiddies were so cute rushing around the fountain to push their boats back off for another trip. Maybe my next Paris pic post will have some more pics of the kids and their boats.

Some Paris Pics :)

Here are a few pics from my trip to Paris. These would have gone up earlier in the week, but the Parisians are snobby with their internet connections. It was around $10US an hour for wifi. BOO on that. Anywho - check em out. More later once I get the eight rolls of film back from Ritz ;)

I'm not telling you what this is. You guess...

The busy corner right near my hotel at the Odeon metro stop.

The coolest pigeons ever - outside of Notre Dame

speaking of Notre Dame...

The Arc de Triomph

My next whip. A Pugeot. Why don't we have these in the US?

The window of a Mickey D's. In case you wanted to compare prices like I did. ;)
