I love my friends.
So I got another SUPER awesome thing yesterday - - my friend jess finished her 100 in 1001!!!!!!! I can now cross off the 'inspire someone else to complete a list' from MY 100 in 1001 (TWICE)! Yay! Just like Beth's list, Jess' is full of great ideas. I kinda wanna update my list now! haha :) Below are some of my favorites! :)
1.Skydive without Robby divorcing me first! - haha. that is just cute.
2.Plan real GIRLS ONLY vacation - I WANNA GOOOooo!!! :)
5.Greet soldiers at airport who just returned from a tour in Iraq/Afghanistan/etc. - she must have read yesterday's post! haha :)
6.Mention three nice things to three different people daily - what a great idea!
11.Refrain from eating after 10:30 p.m.
18.Attend one black tie New Year’s Eve event - oooo mee tooo
24.Compile emergency kit for home
29.Provide my own bags to cashier at grocery stores
33.Learn to knit like a pro! - yay! and we can throw yarn parties - you can knit and I'll crochet!
34.Conduct research on BOTH republican and democratic Presidential candidates and make a super duper informed decision when I vote for the next President!
35.Learn to drive stick - Baby is totally willing to help you in this venture
44.Slide down the killer waterslide at Robby’s mother’s country club - how fun
51.Convince Robby to sing karaoke just once!
52.Receive an “A” on all unlocked songs on PlayStation’s DDR Max - this is the BEST
58.Watch my Saved by the Bell DVDs straight through without stopping or sleeping - I'll TOTALLY do this with you!
66.Cease using any curse words, unless it’s REALLY bad :)
77.Act less stubborn (or pick my battles more wisely)
79.Request a bone scan at the age of 26 (02.09.2009) to detect any bone loss
83.Refrain from eating fast food for three months, then see if I can keep going
86.Stay out partying one night until at least 7:00 a.m.
92.Throw a Tacky Christmas Party – sweaters and all
101.Satisfy all of these goals!
Isn't she great! she even threw in number 101 for good measure! Way to go Jess! I can't wait to see how great the next 1001 days are for you! :) Good luck!

Beth's 100 in 1001
Today is a great day. I am happy to say that one of my friends Beth (I call her Beeth - it is a long story! ) has COMPLETED a 100 in 1001 list!!!! yayayayayaya!
Beth R. soon to be Beth V. (she is marrying my old roomie Alexi!!!!! ain't that cute!) has a really great list. In fact, I'm kinda jealous I didn't think of a few of her items. I won't post
her entire list, but I will give a few of my favorites:
1. Get married
2. Have a baby - #1&2 were really cool for Beth AND Alexi. I am excited for their wedding, and can't wait to meet lil' Jen! :)
7. Start a "book club"
11. Find a job I care about - AMEN
25. Make someone smile at least once a day - :) You accomplished this one, Beeth - I'm totally smiling!!!! Your list is GREAT!
31. Watch all 10 seasons of Stargate - Yes! Great idea - - and yes, I know it is sci-fi. that doesn't mean it stinks! :)
49. Get out of bed after one snooze or less
50. Be productive on the weekends - after a good sleep in, of course!
53. Be confident, but not cocky - i just like how she put this! :)
55. Donate my hair to locks of love
66. Beat a video game - oooooo yes! how fun!
67. Learn a new vocabulary word and feel comfortable using it
68. Throw a wedding or baby shower for someone
69. Always find something positive even when it seems like there's nothing
74. Win something - um! who doesn't want to win something! I'm totally game!
77. Become more knowledgeable about my 401k - i def. need to do more of this!
86. Go to dinner with Alexi's mom and nobody else - i would like to go to dinner with just Debby, I think that would be really nice. Maybe the next time I'm in Texas... :)
91. See a shooting star
97. Send flowers to someone "just because"
100. Finish the list, feel good about having done so, and throw myself a party!
Way to go Beeth! I'm sooo happy for you! :) And now I can update my list! :)

100 in 1001
So I've been inspired by a few blogs, and I'm going to start a 100 in 1001. What is a 100 in 1001, you ask? Well, it is a list of 100 things that you want to complete in the next 1001 days. My list will be posted before my birthday but the start date will be my birthday, Nov 12, 2007. That will mean that by Monday, Aug 9, 2010 I will need to complete my 100. If I am successful in this list, that will mean that right before I turn 30 I will have this list completed.
Check out these blogs to see what I'm talking about:
100:1001
Finishing School
Persephone's Awakening
My list will be posted soon. Keep your eyes peeled.
