Favorite Links

So recently, I've had LOTS of time to surf the web.  If you know me personally, you will understand this very well.  haha.  I've found a lot of new fun sites in these past weeks.  I thought I would share some of them with you!!!  :)

• http://www.cuteoverload.com/  - This site is nothing but AMAZINGLY cute pictures of animals.  You can't help but smile when you see this!  :)

• http://slickdeals.net/ - this site lists things that are super on sale around the web.  I've bought many a gift (and treat for myself) using slickdeals.  I check this numerous times daily. I would suggest you start too!  :)
• http://www.tastebook.com - this site allows you to make your own cook book.  You provide your favorite recipes (or use ones from Epicurious.com).  Tastebook will send you your very own cookbook!  What a great idea!  :)  I wish you could upload pictures to personalize it a bit more, but I'm sure it is only a matter of time!!!  :)
• http://www.thegreenhead.com - this site just has cool stuff.  Porcelan Solo Cups, Wi-Fi detecting T-shirts, vertical hanging wall planters, the rarest cat in the world... the list goes on and on... some cool stuff!!!  Tells ya where you can buy it all also! :)
• http://dvice.com/ - this site was recently upgraded, and has been a favorite of mine for a long time.  Formerly sponsored by the Sci-Fi Channel (don't let that deter you from checking it out!) this site explores the new tech stuff coming out.   Sweet!
• http://www.bornrich.org/ - this is the luxury stuff we all dream about.  This blog shows you it all!  From diamond studded iPods to bazillion dollar yachts and homes to golden toilets... this site gives you things to drool about all day!!

Ok, that is about all i've got for right now.  enjoy!

Next on American Idol! :)

Sooo... I've been telling yall that I sing at my church, Fairfax Community Church. Soo... here is a pic of me doing just that! I look a little funny, so cut me some slack. :) Had I known I was gonna be modeling that night, I would have worn brighter colors! My buddy Keith is in the background on Bass. HOlla! ;)

This picture was taken by my photography buddy at church - Steve W.

P.S. - You can also check out my worship leader's website - Chris Joyner. The link is on the right side of the page. He just had a new CD come out, so buy it! :)

Photography - My Personal Faves!

There are a couple of photographers I have come across lately that are soo great I just have to share them with yall.  Enjoy!

#1 - I found this guy on the Discovery Channel.  They have this show called something like "dangerous jobs" or something like that, and this guy was the feature.  He is SUPER GREAT.  He gets to sit on the side of cliffs and photograph brown bears in Alaska.  Now that is a sweet job!  I WANT TO BE THIS GUY!!!!

His website is:  http://www.joltersdorf.com/

#2 - This girl took pictures of Ben and Crystal in the Outer Banks recently.  The pictures look AMAZING.  And by AMAZING I mean - MONEY!!!!  haha :)  She has a really great eye for photos... I think she photographs things the way I see them sometimes.  I really hope to have her take photos of me one day!  Or better yet - take photos WITH her one day!  She is becoming super famous though, so I'll have to scoop her up while I can!!!!!!

Her websites are:  www.brookemayo.com (her official photography site) and www.blog.brookemayo.com (this site is a bit more personal with some notes and pics from her)

I hope yall enjoy these pictures!  More soon...

:( :( :( :(

So I had to get a new blog design. The template I have been using broke somehow. I think the pictures I have in these posts did something to it! : ( Maybe once I post enough they will move into the archives and then I will be able to switch back. Till then... or until I learn how to read/write HTML Code more better (yup I said it), I'm stuck with this goofy black template.

Till then... enjoy the black.

05 Summer Fun :)

Too bad summer is almost over :(

Me with my crimped.. uhh... i mean "primped" hair

my mom and pops - when we went to lunch at sequoias ;)

My mom had surgery recently and my pops demanded she ride in the cart at Wegman's ;) And no, they didn't continue these antics inside the store. My mom was able to walk like a healthy woman. haha :)

Jayne M at our company's "summer outing" :) Yummy!

Robby - just because he looked SOOOOOO hot ;)

I heart DC

Soo... Can I tell you how cool it is to work in the city sometimes!?!? Last week I saw the president in his motorcade drive by. Yeah, you can guess what I was doing: jumping up and down and waving and calling my parents to tell them who I just saw. Ok, so I'm a dork when it comes to "W."
Buuutttttt on Friday, the excitement level went up tenfold. I saw Michael Duglas directly across from my office!!! After lunch, (Chipotle of course) the girls (Barbara, Lisa and myself) saw a bunch of commotion across the street from our office and like any good group of women - we all stopped to gawk at the scene. Then we got a little curious as to what was going on. We found out that they are taping "the Sentinel." Keifer Sutherland, Eva Longoria and Michael Douglas... Soo... we are standing on the corner of 18th and M and out walks Michael Douglas! Luckily I had my camera with me (see below!!!)
Well... Mikey walked by and then disappeared and about four minutes later walked back by with Catherine Zeta Jones!!!! It was such a cool day! Ok, well enjoy the pics!

and this isn't very good, but Catherine Zeta Jones is in this one:
