Today.

sooo... yeah. here is my blog again. i went to atlanta, georgia this weekend. it was such a good time. i got to see my family and we had a great time. it never ceases to amaze me how alike my family members are even though we don't see each other that often! my dad's brother that is 18 years younger than him is EXACTLY like my dad. they talk the same, they walk the same, heck they have the same soap boxes! my aunts were great. they are sooo cool. my aunt judy's house is awesome. she really has a knack for making things look great. my aunt jane is so compassionate - loves her family and loves life. she notices the beautiful things. my aunt maryanne is so fun. she is strong, creative and crafty. family is really great. you don't realize what you have until you don't get to have it all the time... ya know?
i think my most favorite part of the whole weekend was the few minutes i spent wiht my little couz. emily. emily is autistic. she is eight years old. emily and i at one point sat on the couch and did 'this little piggy' together. it was so cute to hear her giggle about the 'wee wee wee all the way home' part. she knew before it was going to happen, what was going to happen and i don't know why that stuck with me so much, but honestly that was one of my favorite parts of my trip. too cute.
tonight i have practice with the vienna falls ladies. yikes! i get to audition tonight! part of me is super excited, the other part is kinda nervous. i haven't had to audition in ages! i'm going to sing 'runnin wild' for the audition. haha... we will see how that goes! i'm sure there will be an addition to the blog about it. :)
this weekend is easter. so i am gonna go to vb again. that should be a good time. i like easter. i think it is a fun holiday. the colors are great. and everyone always looks really nice at church and stuff. every year at my church all the young kids get their picture taken in front of the church under this tree in the yard. i have like six years of us in front of the tree... it is so nice to see how everyone has grown! we are so cute. soo... i have to make sure i get that picture.
